On the first day of the trip, we will be starting from Surabaya. It can be in the Airport, Train Station or Hotel in the Surabaya area. If you planned to stay in the Surabaya area, we recommend starting at 9 am in the morning so we will be having enough time to explore Jodipan Colorful Village in Malang. But if you arrived from the Airport of Train Station, we recommend taking before midday arrival. Surabaya to Malang area will take about 2 hours away.

pon your arrival in Jodipan Colorful Village, we will take you to the bridge or street where you can see both areas of this village, there are two villages that split by the bridge or road. One of them is very colorful with rainbow color but another one with a blue color only. So it’s very interesting to see. We will be needing about 3 hours to explore the whole area.

After enjoying the exploring here, we will continue to drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area which is located in the Pronojiwo Village, it take about 2 hours away. Upon your arrival in the area, we will let you rest or walking around the village.

Note: This village is very far from the big town and very new into tourism, so restaurants or big supermarkets are not available yet, everything is still local.

On the second day of the trip, we will be starting from Malang to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall at about 5 am, and we will drive about 2 hours. Upon your arrival in Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area, our guide will escort you to the Panorama viewpoint where you can see 180 degrees of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. If you fly a drone here, you can see the highest volcano in Java Island. That is Mount Semeru, so make sure you have enough battery for your drone.

The whole activity here will take about 3-4 hours depends on how you enjoy the waterfall. Mineral water and some snacks are the must-things to bring here.

After you finished the trip here, we will go back to the car and go to second famous waterfall in the area, that is Kabut Pelangi Waterfall. This waterfall is a single big waterfall but it’s beautiful and less people visit it. You will spend here around 2 hours top. Afterward, we will stop at the local place to eat before going back to your accommodation.

On the third day of the tour, we will start the trip about 5 am to the view point of Kapas Biru Waterfall, it will take about 10 minutes from your homestay in Tumpak Sewu Waterfall area. It’s beautifully new spot to see the Kapas Biru Waterfall and Mount Semeru as a background, but you should be careful, it’s a cliff. Then we will go to the another view point, that is Coban Sriti Waterfall, we can see this waterfall only from the top, because the route is still wild and risky for the landslide.

After see all the view point in the area, we will drive to the Kapas Biru Waterfall, upon your arrival in the parking place, you can do trekking for about 10 minutes more less (depends on your pace). You can enjoy the waterfall here for 2 hours.

Note: Some of the waterfalls here are still isolated so the access is so difficult, so please listen to our guide for your safety.

After enjoying the waterfall here, we will start to move to our next destination, which is the Mount Bromo area. It will take about 4-5 hours away.

The fourth day of the trip, we will start about 2:30 am from your hotel, we will drive with a jeep to reach King Kong Hill for about 40 minutes then we will take a motorbike taxi to reach the hidden sunrise point of Rogowulan Hill. It will take about 40 minutes as well. You must make sure; you have a warm jacket with you. The temperature here will be about 9-15 degrees Celsius.

Upon your arrival in Rogowulan Hill, you can be starting to prepare your camera. The sun rises at 5:30 am but about 5 am, you can see the colors before sunrise. It’s so nice to capture the moment from here because less crowded and you can see the whole area of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park from here.

After enjoying the area here, we will go back to King Kong Hill for capturing another angle of Mount Bromo and surrounding. About 7:30 am, we will go back to our jeep and drive to the sea of sand before going back to our hotel in Cemoro Lawang area.

You can have breakfast and rest, about 4 pm our guide will invite you to watch the beautiful sunset in Metigen Hill. About 6 pm, we will go back to our hotel, have dinner and rest

OPTIONAL: IF YOU JUST WANT TO SEE THE NORMAL VIEW OF MOUNT BROMO, WE CAN JUST GO TO KING KONG HILL AND START FROM HOTEL ABOUT 3:30 AM. (PLEASE LET US KNOW YOUR PREFERENCE)

The fifth day of the trip, we will start from our hotel at 4 am in the morning, we will drive about 20 minutes to the start point of Mount Bromo trekking point. We will trek about 45 minutes until we reach the top of Mount Bromo. From here, we will see another beautiful sunrise with fewer people too.

After enjoying the trekking, we will be back at our hotel for having breakfast, take a shower and start to drive to our next destination that is Madakaripura Waterfall, it will take about an hour’s drive. Upon your arrival in the parking area, we will ride a motorbike taxi for about 10 minutes and trekking for 15 minutes. We will be passing the small waterfall before reaching the big waterfall. So, you must make sure to bring your raincoat.

Enjoy the waterfall here before heading to Banyuwangi town area for about 5-6 hours drive.

On the last day of the trip, we will be starting at about 2:00 am in the morning, we will drive about an hour to reach Paltuding/start point of the volcano. Upon your arrival in Paltuding, we will be trekking for about 1,5 -2 hours, it depends on your pace. When you reach the crater rim of Ijen Volcano, our guide will take you to the best spot to see the sunrise and also the best view of the crater itself.

Ijen Volcano has one of the biggest sulfuric lakes in Asia and the lake has a turquoise color with high acidity (0,5 Ph.). So it’s beautiful and also dangerous.

After enjoying the view here about 7 am, we will go back to our car and drive back to the hotel for having breakfast and get some rest. At 11:30 am, we will be ready to take you to go to the ferry port for taking a ferry. The ferry will take about an hour. Upon your arrival in Gilimanuk Harbor (Bali side), you will be meeting with our driver who is ready to escort you to your hotel in Bali.

OPTIONAL PROGRAM:
If the weather is good enough and you have a good condition for trekking at night, you can take Ijen blue fire tour at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave the Hotel or Homestay around 1:00 AM or Midnight.

Note: there is no additional cost to take this blue fire tour but this trip depends on the Ijen Crater condition when it’s not allowed to go down by the local volcanologists, we only able to stay on the top of the crater.
