The Labuan Bajo Waerebo Trekking & Flores Overland tour is a 6-day adventure through Flores Island's scenic and cultural landscapes. Starting in Labuan Bajo, trek to remote Waerebo Village, nestled in the mountains, experiencing the traditional Manggarai lifestyle. Visit unique spider web rice fields in Cancar Village and explore charming Ruteng. Discover traditional palm liquor in Aimere Village and relax in So'a hot springs after exploring megalithic villages in Bajawa. Island hop and snorkel in Riung, visit Blue Stone Beach, and experience vibrant markets in Ende and Moni. Conclude with a sunrise trek to Kelimutu Lake, famous for its tri-colored crater lakes. This tour combines cultural immersion, scenic beauty, and outdoor activities, creating an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

Labuan Bajo –Dintor – Denge – Waerebo/ Local House (L,D

Depart after the breakfast to Dintor. After lunch in Dintor, we will drive to Denge, where we will start trekking about 4 hours to Waerebo. Dinner and overnight will be at the local villager’s visitor house. Sleeping mattresses will be provided.

Day 2 :

Waerebo – Denge – Dintor – Cancar - Ruteng / Ara Garden Inn 2*/ Superior Room (B/L)

After an early breakfast you depart for trekking from Waerebo to Dintor about 4 hours. After lunch, we will visit Spider web rice field is located in Cancar and drive to Ruteng via Iteng. Arrive in Ruteng for overnight .

Driving time : Denge - Ruteng : 3 Hours

Day 3 :

Ruteng – Liang Bua Cave for Homo floresiensis - Bajawa / Manulalu Jungle Bungalow2*/ Standard Room (B/L)

Depart Ruteng where we will visit Ranamese lake in the cloud forest and One of the most fascinating places to visit in Ruteng is the Liang Bua cave, where the remains of Homo floresiensis, also known as the “hobbit”, were discovered. This species of human lived on Flores over 50,000 years ago and stood little more than 1m in height. In the cave you can see the excavation sites where the bones were found as well as the rock formation and narrow passages that have a magical aura. Then continue to Aimere with its “Arak” distillation and palm wine fresh used tapp, Lunch at local restaurant. Last we will visit Bena Village,is the most famous and also most visited village in the Ngada district. With its impressive stone formations and ancestral shrines, as well as traditional houses, Bena has turned into a signpost for Ngada culture before check in at your hotel for overnight.

Day 4 :

Bajawa – Moni / Kelimutu Eco Lodge 2*/ Standard Room (B/L)

Depart after breakfast from Bajawa we will visit the blue pebbles beach and some stop in Ende before we drive to Moni for overnight.Driving time : Bajawa – Moni : 6 Hours

Day 5 :

Moni – Kelimutu Lake (B,L)

Drive from hotel early in the morning at 4 am to Mount Kelimutu, with its three -colored crater lakes, is probably the most amazing natural phenomenon in Nusa Tenggara. The color has dramatic changed in the last 20 years, now it has turquoise, Blue and dark green. In the morning is has the best opportunities to enjoy sunrise (if the weather permit), on the way back to the hotel you will stop on the rice terraces.

Day 6 :

Moni - Ende – Transfer to Airport / NEXT DESTINATION (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Ende Airport for your flight to next destination. End of the trip .
