The Baliem Valley Festival is an annual cultural celebration held in the heart of Papua’s highlands, showcasing the rich heritage of the Dani, Lani, and Yali tribes. On arrival at Baliem Valley (Wamena airport) process luggage and short transfer to hotel for check in + rest (half day tour) then visit local market & Dani village,
(Weather in Wamena, afternoon / evening 10 – 12 C and day time 25 C, suggest to bring the sweeter / jacket)
Morning breakfast at hotel 07.15 – 08.15 and next preparation, around 08.45 get into car (small car with seat 4-6 passengers) driving 50 minutes to Wosilimo village (the located of Festival), join the whole day of Festival and enjoy the some attraction from some villages / district.
(The first ordinary day is the opening day by the local government and a welcome speech)
Around 04.00 preparation and drive back to hotel, arrive hotel free program and having dinner at hotel’s restaurant at 07.00pm
Note: For lunch, the box is very simple; we will order from the hotel with options such as fried rice or fried noodles or sandwiches and we will add items like fruit, biscuits and drinking water.

(Watching the pig caravan competition by Dani women & other competitions such as archery & spear throwing, and this can be participated by tourists)
Around 04.00 preparation and drive back to hotel, arrive hotel free program and having dinner at hotel’s restaurant at 07.00pm

First we drive 25 minutes to Tanah Merah and walk 15 minutes to Suroba village, we will spend about 1,5-2hours at village back to car.
next drive further to Festival.
See and enjoy the whole day of Festival, today other district will show the dance.
(simple lunch box will serve for lunch) afternoon drive back to hotel.
Around 04.00/04,30 preparation and drive back to hotel for about 50 minutes / an hour Arrive hotel free program and dinner at hotel’s restaurant 0700pm

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura (flight 09.45-10.15)
Arrival at Jayapura airport, directly drive to Sentani lake and take a boat to explore the Sentani lake, see the life of people who live in the island and surrounding of lake. Lunch serve at Yogwa lake side restaurant. Next drive to town visit red bridge and local market of Hamadi.
